Biscotte - Hay Bales
Biscotte Bis-Sock yarns are soooo soft. Squishable, wearable, completely make-able! For our September flash mob yarn, we gave the fabulous dyers at Biscotte a photo of hay bales in a prairie field. It reminded us so much of growing up in the country side. (Of course, at the time we selected the picture, we had no idea it would snow in September here in Alberta!) Our flash mob yarn is a beautiful combination of soft blue sky, golden hay bales and the subtle fawny grey of the prairie soil. Cynthia is using two skeins of it for a ZickZack scarf... to ward off the winter cold. She says it helps her to remember the warm fall days of a country harvest.
Each skein contains 100g of wool, 400 metres of yarn. This is more than enough to knit a pair of adult stockings.
In the self-striping version this sock yarn is dyed by hand so as to create stripes when you knit it. It's almost magic!!
